It was love at first sight when we spied this gorgeous mahogany desk. Who doesn't love a compartment? Behind the doors of this beauty are a multitude of drawers, pull out shelves and a divided storage section, We've stripped away the old varnish and given the main part of the desk a sleek makeover in a rich coal black from Fusion Mineral Paints and finished with a clear varnish for extra protection. Once we'd stripped and sanded it back we found a fabulous wooden top that we couldn't bear to cover up. Instead we've given it several coats of hemp oil to nourish it and left it naked in all its glory!
This is a compact vintage desk and the space between the pedestals is narrower than average. However we've found a lovely vintage chair that fits it perfectly so we're including it with the desk. No excuses, you're ready to start work!
